ESYO Music Director Carlos Ágreda kicks off a weekend of virtual spring concerts with Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings and Clarice Assad’s “Dynamic, fresh” (The Aspen Times) “Impressions,” as well as Lyric for Strings by Samuel Barbers friend and Curtis Institute classmate, George Walker. Repertory Romantic Orchestra springs up with Franz Liszt’s cartoon classic Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 and the vivid Poem for Orchestra by film composer and TV arranger John Tatgenhorst.
